About Us

    Clif Wyck is under the keen, new ownership of Brian and Lisa Berg of Mt. Laurel, NJ where they live with their (5) dogs – Cheyenne, Apache, Phoenix, Geronimo and Zeus; our (7) cats – Shadow, Simba, Matsi, Tigg’r, Smokey, Stormy, Lakota; and our (1) parrot – Scarlet!

     Proudly, on 6 February 2008, they became the new owners of this beautiful home away from home for our beloved pets, Clif Wyck Farms Kennels.

    Brian and Lisa both grew up in Marlton and have lived in the Marlton and Mt. Laurel communities since 1988.  They are both retired from their first careers as police officers in Medford; Brian retired in 2003 after 25 years of service and Lisa retired in 2004 after 20 years of service.  Brian spent a total of 15 of those years handling a K9 partner and then supervising the unit; Lisa spent a majority of her years in patrol and assisting in training with the K9 teams, as well as an EMT in the EMS unit.  Their second careers, owners of the extremely successful K9 Basics Dog Training, allows them to enjoy their biggest passion of helping and working with dogs.  They have just entered their 5th year in helping make dogs’ lives better through training and helping homeless/abandoned dogs finally get to their forever homes!!

    Ms. Jackie Lantry was the owner/operator of the kennels and vigilant caretaker of your beloved pets for over 23 years here at Clif Wyck.  Her retirement and long overdue “vacation” is certainly well deserved!  Rest assured that Jackie will remain a fixture here at Clif Wyck, as she will continue to live on the property and will be seen almost on a daily basis visiting the kennels.  Ms. Lantry graciously invited K9 Basics to move it’s training business to her property and they have been with her since May of 2006!

    Rest assured that one of Clif Wyck’s biggest priorities is to continue the same excellent and meticulous level of care for your pets that Jackie and her staff have provided for all these years!  Her name and reputation are well known and have surpassed many in the kenneling/boarding business; her name and reputation have followed her into the Veterinary, Rescue and Shelter worlds as well!

    As the new owners of Clif Wyck, we have begun to bring the important support service resources and building renovations forward by:

  •   Recently adding a computer, email and fax line systems to streamline many of the administrative tasks Jackie did by hand
  •   Creating a website for Clif Wyck Farms Kennels which not only lists the services available, but will also allow for on-line reservations and paperwork completion in the near future;
  •   Promoting (2) young ladies as Kennel Manager and Asst. Kennel Manager, from within the kennel staff – Angie Thompson and Dianna Antrim respectively.  Both trained under Jackie, share the same passion and concern for all of the animals, and have outstanding work ethics.  One or both of them will be on duty daily, their hours staggered to cover the hours of 7am to 7:30pm;  also, most of Jackie’s most recently hired staff have been asked to say on because of their same devotion and work ethic in caring for the animals;
  • hiring a Veterinary Assistant who is part of the full time staffing as well as available in an “on call” status;
  • adding top quality toys and food lines available for purchase;
  • Planning for an on-site Doggie Day Care / Activity Center;
  • RENOVATING AND MODERNIZING THE ENTIRE INTERIOR OF THE KENNEL – THE RECENT FRONT FOYER ADDITION IS A SMALL SAMPLE OF WHAT HAS BEEN PLANNED!!
  • continuing to offer discounts on our training program for all clients of Clif Wyck Farms Kennels – 10% off the Group Training Program and $100.00 off the Board & Train Program
  • You should expect nothing less than the Best of Care being provided to your pet in your absence and attentive Customer Service.  In continuing with Jackie’s motto – “Big or small we love them all!” and adding “Unleashing your dog’s potential and making their lives better!” we look forward to a long and happy future with you and your beloved pets!!
