We believe that our pets are not only our very loyal friends, they are also family members. We treat our boarders with the special love and attention that they deserve. Here at Clif Wyck Farms Kennels, we make every effort to ensure that your pets’ stay with us is extra special. We treat each one as if they were our own, and provide them with the best care and surroundings. Come in for a visit! No need to call in advance. See for yourself that Clif Wyck Farms Kennels is the next best thing to your own home.
Why Trust Us with Your Pets?
We’re glad you asked! Not only are we licensed by the township, and inspected annually by the County Health Department, we are actually the facility used by the Health Department when training new inspectors as an example of how a boarding kennel should be run. Add in our personal love of animals, and you have a winning combination. The better question is Why Trust Anyone Else with Your Pets?
In a Hurry?
We’ve got you covered. And we’ve gone green – no need for paper! Our application and registration procedures are now completely online. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to help you in any way we can.
BRENDA PILLA (Kennel Manager)
Brenda is an avid animal lover who is our front desk manager/kennel administrator at Clif Wyck Kennels. Brenda came on board with us in May 2013. Brenda’s admiration for animals stems from her warm experiences caring for her many animals from childhood to adulthood. Brenda is married and is a proud mother of 2 girls. She is also a nurturing mommy to her 5 pets; Magnum, Cosmo, Elaine, Mr. Meyers, & Miss Weezie. Brenda is a true example that it is never too late to land the job of your dreams…working with animals. “If you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
HEATHER ELLIOT (Groomer)
Heather Elliot has been grooming dogs & cats since graduating from Burlington County Institute of Technology in 2009. This was where Heather found her passion for grooming. She took many classes in veterinary technical studies and was soon certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. Heather also volunteered at a Horse Ranch and Senior Citizen Home, where she would take dogs to visit many seniors, providing them with a positive and happy experience.Heather has been working at Clif Wyck Kennels since August 2011 as their Groomer. Grooming for me isn’t about just making a dog look good, it’s about making them feel healthy and energetic. Heather also enjoys turning Clif Wyck’s rescue dogs from “Diamonds in the Ruff, to beautiful Diamonds”.
TARA STEWART (Doggy Daycare Coordinator)
Tara has 20 years of experience in the animal industry. She’s a NJ certified animal control officer, and has worked at boarding kennels, animal shelters, and vet hospitals. Prior to opening Ruff House Doggie Day Camp in 2013, she spent 10 years as the director of operations at another doggie daycare. She has worked as the temperament evaluator at local animal shelters and has had years of hands on training in assessing all types of dog behaviors. During her time working in shelters, she acquired her own menagerie of rescue dogs. She’s provided hospice care for elderly dogs who would’ve otherwise spent their final years in a shelter, and served as a last chance home for dogs who were considered un-adoptable. She couldn’t imagine having a job that didn’t allow her to interact with animals everyday.
